About Nyanga Trout Tours
Nyanga Trout Tours is run by Guy and Debbie MacIlwaine. They live in Nyanga. Nyanga is situated in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, and is a region of mountains and valleys, fields of wild flowers, prolific birdlife, majestic waterfalls, and numerous dams, rivers and streams that sparkle with trout. Make the most of your time in Nyanga by fishing with Guy. His roots run deep in the area – his grandfather being Major Herbert Macllwaine who founded the famous Troutbeck Hotel and Little Connemara. The Major was instrumental in the introduction of Rainbow and Brown trout to the waters of Nyanga. Needless to say that Guy knows his stuff. He is an accomplished fly fisherman, and his knowledge of the numerous waterways of Nyanga is unrivalled. He knows how to get to all the best spots, which flies to use, and when. He will help anglers of all abilities navigate the rugged and stunning Nyanga landscapes in pursuit of beautiful fish and unforgettable memories.
Debbie will handle all your Accommodation bookings and will organize a cook and caretaker to look after and clean your cottage and generally make sure you have a pleasant and memorable stay with us. She will handle any special needs you may want and on request she can organize collection from Harare airport and transport to Nyanga.
